  Concessionary Travel

A free off-peak bus pass is issued which means that, provided journeys start after 9.30am on a weekday or anytime on weekends and public holidays, eligible residents are able to travel for free on local buses anywhere in England. Alternatively, senior rail cards are available for all new applications or upon renewal of residents' existing concessions.

Eligibility is as follows:

  • Men & women aged 60 and over
  • Registered disabled aged 5 and over

  How To Apply

Senior Citizens, registered blind and partially sighted persons, and anyone in receipt of the higher-rate mobility allowance should apply at the Havant Civic Offices, with proof of eligibility and a photograph. (There is now a photo booth for public use in the Civic Offices, which provides 4 photographs for £4.)

Concessionary bus travel is only available to eligible persons who are also permanent residents of Havant Borough. A leaflet explaining the scheme in more detail is available from Havant Borough Council offices or from:
